With 30 kilometers of runs, Nara is the largest winter sports area in the Blenio Valley. Located above Leontica, it extends from 1,400 to 2,200 m a.s.l. Bassa di Nara, the highest lift-served point, is located on the ridge between the Blenio Valley and Leventina.
The stunning, sweeping view encompasses the Gotthard Massif and extends as far as the Rheinwaldhorn (Adula). This winter sports area also offers 10 kilometers of toboggan runs, 7 kilometers of winter hiking trails and a Snow Park with jumps and rails.
The only one in Ticino, the sledge track in Nara offers fun and emotions to the whole family. By chairlift from Leontica to Cancorì, then continue towards Pian Nara.
The track starts from Pian Nara, 5 km long and 480 m of height difference, find its way through snow-covered slopes, conifer forests and groups of beautiful houses. If the snow conditions allows it, you can continue for further 5 km from Cancorì to Leontica..
