What’s my favourite activity? Chasing each other around the track – it’s amazing! Whether you’re on a scooter, bike or roller blades, you just have to stay on the track and move as fast as you can. This pump track is awesome. As soon as school’s over I come here with my friends and we have a great time. There are often other kids here who we don’t know. They’re here on holiday from other countries. They don’t speak Italian but it’s not a problem, we all get along. We took on some kids who spoke English. We didn’t understand anything! Obviously we let them win.
Go all out in Cevio, on dirt jump and slopestyle bikes
The pump track opposite the middle school in Cevio features banked turns and rollers of different sizes. Open to mountain bikes, scooters and skateboards, it’s a safe place to practise your moves. A young user tells us how dads sometimes slow the traffic down.

There were two girls there yesterday with their dad. They were trying to teach him how to ride a scooter! I don’t know how many times we overtook him. He was going at snail’s pace. We've made some great friends here. There were two boys in Cevio on holiday and they came here every day for a week. They were really good. After a few days their dad let them come on their own and we spent all afternoon together. We had an amazing time. We even taught them a few words of Italian. They promised us they’ll be back next summer. When we’re tired we rest in the little park next door. But we can’t keep still for long and we soon start playing on the swings and slides. We’re not all that good at relaxing.
