The Radio Museum offers an educational tour that tells the history of the radio starting from Guglielmo Marconi (1895) to the present day, with a special focus on the Ticino area.
The itinerary starts with the first steps towards the invention of the radio; radio receivers, televisions, parts of transmitters, measuring devices, electric valves and much more can be seen on display. The museum is also equipped with a specialised library on the technique and history of radiocommunication.
The Museum is located in the "Stazione radio nazionale Onde Medie del Monte Ceneri", inaugurated in 1993 and now in the Cultural Heritage of the Canton Ticino.
